This weekend, Huey and I traveled up to Princeton to see my little sister’s final home game as a senior. We watched as my mom and grandfather walked Caroline onto the field and cheered as the Women’s Lax team beat Dartmouth to take the title of Ivy League Champs! I got a little emotional, as I always do, and also forgot to wear sunscreen… eek! (I didn’t realize that in April I could get a sunburn of epic proportions… and looked a little tomatoesque for Easter morning!) But even with the rosy cheeks, I can honestly say that it was one of the best weekends I’ve had in a very long time!
I’m so incredibly proud of my little sister, Caroline! She works so hard – balancing collegiate lacrosse, an intense Psychology Thesis, all while prepping for her MCATs so that she can apply to Medical School… I may have gotten the creative genes in the family – but my sister got just about everything else! She’s smart and beautiful, a talented athlete, and an amazing friend. Caroline may be my younger sister but I’ve always looked up to her… She is truly one of my ‘anchors’ and someone that I adore most in this world!
Love you, Caroline! We are so proud of you and we loved celebrating with you this weekend!
