Stella and Dot Fall Launch | Crush Winehouse Annapolis

July 21, 2011 | Posted in Fashion, Uncategorized

Tuesday night, I photographed a fabulous event for Stella and Dot at the Crush Winehouse off of West Street in Annapolis! A few weeks ago, Stella & Dot launched their new Fall Collection and Senior Director and Founding Leader, Jeanne, hosted a fantastic event to introduce the stylists to the new line. We were connected after the super nautical Bayside Bride Styled Shoot that featured some of my favorite Stella & Dot pieces! I was there to photograph the new jewelry and capture some fun moments with this group of women!

One of the things that I loved about being in this room is the energy and enthusiasm that these women have for Stella and Dot! There was an age range from college students, women in their twenties, to mothers – all gathering together, enjoying delicious goodies from the winehouse, and chatting about their experiences as independant stylists. There was laughter, smiles, and some absolutely gorgeous jewelry!

Thank you Jeanne for having me photograph the event!
Scroll down for a special deal on Stella & Dot for mentioning this blog post!

Ashley & Greg | Maryland Engagement Photographer

July 11, 2011 | Posted in Engagements, Fashion

Ashley has a love for all things vintage. She loves literature, cupcakes & summer picnics. Greg loves numbers, mathematics, the analytical parts of life. But what he loves the most is this beautiful girl named Ashley. And together, they make a perfect pair.

When Ashley first emailed me about photographing her wedding next June, I remember immediately getting excited! She has a vision for her wedding & her engagement session that had me swooning. Her love for antiques & creative eye made this entire engagement session feel like it was put together by a designer. Our first engagement session at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland was cut short by a bad summer thunderstorm so we regrouped and finished the second half of the session at one of my favorite hidden gems in Annapolis, Maryland. This session has everything: mason jars, fresh cut flowers, red baloons, sailboats & a save the date sign! I love the way it has a two-part feel & shows off the dynamic style and personality of these two!

Ashley & Greg – Thank you for making this session so much fun! Can’t wait for next summer!

Bayside Bride Launch

May 2, 2011 | Posted in Engagements, Fashion

Today marks an exciting new beginning in my life and in the world of the Annapolis wedding industry! This project is something that my grandmother was incredibly excited for and I can only imagine how proud she would have been to see it take flight today! The launch of Bayside Bride marks more than just a new venture for me, but rather a triumphant new beginning in a time of hardship… It’s about following an idea, turning it into a dream, and watching it blossom through hard work and enthusiasm.

Check out the Comprehensive Annapolis Wedding Inspiration Guide — Bayside Bride.
And be sure to show your support by liking us on Facebook and following us on Twitter as well!

Bayside Bride

None of this would have been possible without the support of my business partner, Krista, and the support of the entire wedding community! Bayside Bride is aimed at assisting Annapolis brides in planning their dream weddings while also featuring a few of the amazing vendors in this area! Today marks our official launch and we’re opening the website with images from our styled shoot last month!

Creating a vision for a styled photo shoot is a lot of fun! It’s an amazing feeling to have creative control over bringing a concept to life! Krista and I would especially want to thank Angela of Behind the Veil for doing makeup, Liu Liu Salon and Spa for hair, Starboard Clothing Co. for providing Cody’s bow-ties, Intrigue Design & Decor for a variety of stunning floral arrangements, Allison Barnhill Designs for our adorable “Sail Away” sign, and Rebecca who both modeled and provided the beautiful Stella and Dot jewelry! Every one of these contributing vendors were phenomenal to work with and I personally recommend them to each and every one of my brides planning an Annapolis wedding or designing their engagement session!
