Ashley & Robert | Naval Academy Engagement

March 1, 2013 | Posted in Engagements

Last weekend, I met Ashley and Rob at the Naval Academy for their engagement session on a sunny February afternoon. With the wind whipping up off the water, Rob wrapped his arms tightly around Ashley and they spent the afternoon laughing and enjoying the Chesapeake sunshine.

Ashley is stationed on a ship in Virginia, while Rob is living in Annapolis and teaching at the Academy. Living long distance while also serving their country has been incredibly difficult, but it is the unconditional love and unbreakable friendship that allows them to conquer the challenge of their long distance relationship. Rob and Ashley are two incredible people and it was such an honor to capture their engagement session!

Congratulations Ashley & Rob! Have a great weekend!

Ok so I am dying over those pictures with the sailboats in the reflection on the glass. SO neat. I also love your canoe shots. So sweet!

What a great session! Love the one where he’s kinda dipping her and they’re kissing and her hair is flying out a little! :) Their outfit change is absolutely adorable.

Love how their outfits are patriotically colored without being cheesy and so fitting of the scenery! Last shot is my fav!

You always have such gorgeous shots with a great variety of posing and expressions! Just amazing. This would be a really long comment if I said all the shots I loved! Also, I adore the patriotic meets nautical styling. B-e-a-utiful!
