Suzy and Andrew’s wedding day began in Old Town Alexandria before we zipped to the Monuments and Tidal Basin in Washington DC for beautiful portraits of the bride, groom, and their fantastic bridal party! They selected the date 11-11-11 for the gorgeous fall foliage and with the hope that it would be a very lucky day to begin this new chapter in their lives! With gorgeous weather, a stunning location, and a joyous day for Suzy, Andrew, their friends & family – I would have to agree that it was lucky indeed!
Their wedding was absolutely filled with so many beautiful moments and narrowing down my favorite images for this post was more than difficult! Especially with the number of fun portraits of Suzy and Andrew that we took in Washington, DC – It was impossible to capture the entire day into just a few images! I’m so grateful to my fantastic second photographer, Mandy Sroka, who once again helped me in countless ways!
Congratulations newlyweds! Thank you for allowing me to document this important day in your lives!

Because Suzy & Andrew officially met while Suzy was studying abroad in Paris – the reception had a dash of French elegance!

The wedding favors were individually packaged lotto tickets for each guest to take home! How cute is that?!
