Sayra & Jon | Rittenhouse Engagement Session

October 17, 2011 | Posted in Engagements

This past weekend I met up with Sayra & Jonathan in Rittenhouse Square, Philadelphia for their engagement session around the park! It was an absolutely gorgeous morning – the light was soft, there was a rustling autumn breeze, and everything was falling into place perfectly. The lovebirds met at the University of Pennsylvania, where Jon recently graduated and Sayra is a senior!

One of the most romantic parts of their love story was Jonathan’s proposal – he wanted Sayra to be completely surprised but he knew that she would notice if he started asking questions about her ring size & favorite settings. So one day, in the pouring rain, he got down on one knee on Penn’s campus and asked Sayra to marry him. Even without a ring, he knew that he wanted to marry her and he couldn’t imagine spending the rest of his life without her by his side… just a simple little thing called love!

Enjoy a little glimpse into their session! Congratulations Sayra & Jon!

Oh my gosh I’m going bananas over the falling leaves photo! Frame that and put it EVERYWHERE! I love that they dressed up for their session- I always feel like clients have a bit more fun when they’re dressed to the nines and feelin snazzay.
