A few weeks ago, I helped in putting together a fabulous patriotic styled shoot for Bayside Bride that captured the patriotic spirit of Independence Day! Incase you don’t know – I co-founded Bayside Bride with one of my best friends, Krista Jones after realizing that Annapolis didn’t have a wedding blog to call it’s own! Since May 2nd when we launched, everything has been growing so rapidly! We took on a few interns, started building a strong vendor guide, and planning our own styled shoots & putting together inspiration boards to help local brides! If you haven’t checked out the website yet, you should! I’m so proud of everything that we’ve been able to do so far and all the plans we have for the future!
One of my favorite parts about running a wedding blog, is being able to create a styled wedding shoot from start to finish! It takes a ton of hard work to put something like this together, but when you step back and see the finished product – it’s so incredibly worth it! For our most recent shoot, we wanted to incorporate our appreciation for the military with our love for patriotic wedding inspiration & ran with the theme of “Stars and Stripes” – Enjoy this little glimpse into the shoot!
I love how WesWen Design included a fact about the Naval Academy on the back of the Table Number card! Such a great idea!
Julie from Little House of Flowers was an incredible supporter during the entire shoot!
She helped Krista & I assemble everything and provided the stunning floral arrangements!
While shopping in the local Annapolis antique store, Then & Again Antiques, we came across a 1950′s ammunition box!
What a fun & unique way to display drinks that are also escort cards? We felt it fit with the military theme!
Krista also had the idea to use a boat’s blueprint for a “guest-book” that the couple could frame after the wedding! So cute!
